Designed, Built & Installed In-House

Frameless glass railings that elevate any staircase, balcony, or pool deck

Frameless glass railings are one of the most striking architectural features available to South Florida homeowners and builders. By replacing traditional wood or metal balusters with clear or low-iron tempered glass, you instantly open up a staircase, balcony, or pool deck — preserving sightlines, maximizing light, and giving any space a modern, high-end appearance.

Unlike competitors who outsource fabrication, we manufacture every glass railing panel in-house and handle design, delivery, and installation with our own trained crew. This gives us total quality control — and means your project moves faster, costs less, and is backed by a single accountable team from start to finish.

Common Questions

Glass railing FAQs

We use tempered and laminated glass depending on the application. Tempered glass shatters into small, safe fragments if broken. Laminated glass (two panes with an interlayer) holds together when broken — preferred for elevated balconies and overhead applications. Low-iron glass is available for maximum clarity, especially on pool decks where standard glass can appear greenish.

Yes. Our glass railing systems are engineered to be 3x stronger than what Florida building code requires and are tested to International Code Council (ICC) standards. Tempered glass is approximately 4x stronger than standard glass, and our mounting hardware is engineered to absorb lateral loads well beyond code requirements.

Spigot (or post) systems anchor individual glass panels to the deck using stainless steel spigots at regular intervals. Channel base (zapata) systems use a continuous aluminum channel at the base that the glass panels slot into. Channel systems offer a completely flush look; spigot systems work well on irregular surfaces and are easier to retrofit on existing decks.

In most Florida residential applications, a graspable handrail is required by code on staircases. For balconies, the code requirement depends on the panel height and the specific municipality. We handle all code research for your project and will advise on whether a top rail is required — and offer stainless steel, aluminum, and wood cap options if needed.

Glass railings are low-maintenance. A monthly wipe-down with a squeegee and glass cleaner keeps them sparkling. For outdoor and pool installations, rinse with fresh water weekly to remove salt and chlorine residue. Stainless steel hardware is naturally corrosion-resistant — apply a stainless polish once or twice a year for best appearance.
